Wooden Wall
View on RustlabsA basic building block for bases. Effective at putting a simple layer between your possessions and raiders, but vulnerable to fire, shotgun shells, or several hatchets.
Wooden Foundation
View on RustlabsThe Wood Foundation is literally the base upon which all other construction takes place. Walls, doors, pillars, etc. cannot be placed anywhere but on a foundation of some sort
Wooden Floor
View on RustlabsA floor, or a ceiling, depending on where you're standing. This type of floor has been upgraded with a hammer. This block may only be built on top of a wall, doorway, window, wall frame, stairs L Shape, U shaped stairs or half wall.

Stone Wall
View on RustlabsEssential for any serious base. Due to its cheap cost, this wall is great for larger bases. Although resistant to fire, it can easily be pickaxed on the weak side.
Stone Foundation
View on RustlabsThe top is the 'soft side' and the sides of the foundation are the 'strong side'. If you can get to the top of the foundation, you can pick it out.
Stone Floor
View on RustlabsThe stone flooring is a tier 2 building material that is completely immune to fire damage and can keep off most melee damage. It is, however, extremely vulnerable to explosives.

Decay | 5 hours |
HP | 500 |
Wooden Door
View on RustlabsThe Wooden Door is an early game building item that is made from wood and cheap to produce. Being the cheapest of all the doors, it is often used alongside a Lock to quickly secure a base. Its vulnerability to fire and weak explosive resistance makes the door a temporary solution to securing your base. Due to its flaws it should quickly be upgraded to a higher tier door such as Sheet Metal.
Upkeep | 30 – 100 |
Decay | 3 hours |
HP | 200 |
High External Wooden Wall
View on RustlabsThe High External Wooden Wall is a deployable building object used to wall off an area. The high external is about the height and width of a standard 2x2 wall. The wall also comes with a barbed wire top slowing down and damaging any players that come into contact with it.
High externals can be a cheap and effective way to deny entry, however they decay fairly quickly and need to be maintained.
Due to their size High External Walls are often used in combat as deployable cover.

Tool Cupboard
View on RustlabsThe Tool Cupboard is essential for any base because it prevents people who are not authorized from upgrading building blocks and placing and picking up deployables within a 25-meter radius (around 9 foundation blocks) from the cupboard. If you press 'E' on the cupboard you can authorize yourself so you are able to build in this area. If you hold 'E' on the cupboard you can clear the list of players authorized including yourself. Any player authorized from the cupboard will not be targeted by any flame turrets or shotgun traps within the cupboard's radius.
Decay | 48 hours |

Flame Turret
View on RustlabsThe flame turret is a unique item that is difficult to find many applications for. It mostly finds it's way into 'trap bases', where a player is locked in a tight space and is burnt to a crisp by this monster. It's fueled by low grade fuel, and has a relatively short range to it's flames. Thus, this is a trap that requires a fair bit of planning for you to make good use of, but can be a powerful ally if you do.
HP | 300 |
Auto Turret
View on RustlabsThis automated electric sentry turret will engage and neutralize any moving targets it has line of sight to. You must equip it with a projectile weapon and the corresponding ammunition. Note : The turret will search for targets in a 180 degree arc facing *you* when you place it. Requires 10 power.

Shotgun Trap
View on RustlabsAn entry-level turret crafted from easy to acquire components and resources. Activated by anyone within it's line of sight that does not have building privilege. Loaded with handmade shells, and can fire them independently without player intervention. Handy for protecting airlocks, or trap bases.
HP | 300 |
Wooden Window Bars
View on RustlabsThe Wooden Window Bars are the lowest-tier window bars, provide little cover and deny entrance through windows. They are weaker over its reinforced and metal counterparts. Due to its weakness to fire damage and low health higher tier window bars are recommended.

Wooden Barricade
View on RustlabsThe Wooden Barricade will damage any player that touches it and is often used as part of base defense.
